Nama Nanbu Sable
Who would have thought that the hard Nanbu Senbei could become this soft? This is a moist-textured sable baked by Iwateya, a long-established Nanbu Senbei shop in Morioka, utilizing their expertise in senbei making. Iwateya, which began in Ninohe in 1948 with just 21 baking molds, created this item by challenging the boundaries of the traditions they have cultivated over many years. The light, crispy texture and the aroma of butter that fills the mouth pair excellently with the chocolate cream sandwiched inside. It is also delightful that it retains a hint of the savory senbei fragrance. A new taste of Nanbu that is easy to eat even for children or those who find hard senbei difficult to chew. Why not enjoy one with your tea?

Nama Nanbu Sable (Zunda)
A new sensation in confectionery where Iwateya has arranged Nanbu Senbei dough in a sable style and sandwiched it with zunda cream. While inheriting the crispy DNA of Nanbu Senbei, this Japanese-Western hybrid adds the textured bits and aroma of edamame through the zunda flavor.
