Choco Nanbu
Choco Nanbu is a fusion snack where Nanbu Senbei (traditional rice crackers) meets chocolate. We have broken the traditional Iwate specialty, Nanbu Senbei, into bite-sized pieces and gently coated them in smooth chocolate. Produced by Komatsu Seika (Iwayateya), a long-established maker of Nanbu Senbei. In our premium series, we combine the artistry of cracker making with the allure of chocolate, featuring supervision by a chocolatier from Ninohe City who has expanded their reach from local roots to the world. Each piece is easy to eat and highly valued as a convenient gift for sharing. With an exquisite balance between the crunchy texture of the senbei and the mellow sweetness of the chocolate, this is a popular Iwate souvenir that pairs perfectly with both tea and coffee.
