Sapporo Agricultural College Cookies

With just one bite, the gentle aroma of milk spreads softly, allowing you to enjoy a light, crispy texture. These are simple yet luxurious cookies made with Hokkaido wheat, butter, and plenty of milk. They are produced by Kinotoya, a popular pastry shop in Sapporo. The name is inspired by the 'Sapporo Agricultural College,' the predecessor of Hokkaido University. Established in 1876, it was an institution of learning during the Hokkaido development era, created by inviting American professors such as Dr. Clark. When they were first released, they were sold at the Hokkaido University entrance ceremony venue, and they remain a favorite at the university shop today. Cumulative sales have exceeded 200 million pieces. At an affordable price, each cookie is perfect for casual gifting.
