Shiroi Baum TSUMUGI

When you take a slice, the cross-section is pure white like snow. As you bring it to your mouth, the gentle richness of milk spreads softly from the moist, tender cake. Produced by Ishiya Seika, known for 'Shiroi Koibito.' Introduced in 2009, this Baumkuchen is characterized by incorporating the white chocolate from 'Shiroi Koibito' into the batter instead of butter. While it was traditionally difficult to bake a cake this white, their unique production method—baking while retaining moisture—achieves a pure white and moist texture. The name 'TSUMUGI' carries the wish that this product can serve as a bridge, spinning together the stories of people like the rings of a tree. This is a 'Shiroi Baum' that is becoming a new staple for Hokkaido souvenirs.
