Otokoyama

When poured into a cup, it is a clear and pure sake. With a single sip, a clean, light, and dry taste without any impurities glides across the tongue, followed by a gentle rise of rice umami and a gorgeous aroma. It has a sharp finish and enhances the flavor of food without overpowering it. The foundation of its flavor is supported by subsoil water that arrives from the Daisetsuzan mountains after a long journey. Pure water and carefully selected sake-brewing rice create this elegant dry sake in the land of Asahikawa. In 1977, it became the first Japanese sake to win a gold medal at the Monde Selection, and since then, it has accumulated numerous awards as a highly skilled brand. Its character changes whether served chilled or warm, quietly complementing the side dishes of the North.
