Akai Silo (Red Silo)

When you insert a fork, the moist, rich cake crumbles delicately. This cheesecake is rich in milky aroma, using plenty of Hokkaido-grown milk, wheat, condensed milk, and eggs. Released in 1996 by Seigetsu, a long-established shop in Kitami. The name, inspired by the brick silos that were once seen all over Hokkaido, embodies the desire to continue conveying the deliciousness of Hokkaido. During the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, it became a nationwide sensation after the Japanese women's curling team, 'Loco Solare,' was seen enjoying it between matches. This led to a surge in orders and frequent sell-outs. It is a pride of Kitami that has created quite a stir.
