Kyogomon Kirikasane

It is an elegant bite-sized manju with a moist skin enveloping white bean paste that highlights the aroma of yuzu. Kyogomon is a representative Japanese confectionery shop in Tsuyama, founded in 1935. Because Kirikasane uses the flavor of yuzu produced in the Sakushu region and contains high moisture levels making it difficult to bake, each piece is carefully hand-baked one by one. As its prestigious name suggests (evoking paulownia crests), it is a masterpiece suitable for gifts and celebrations. Its charm lies in the harmony between the refreshing aroma of yuzu and the smooth white bean paste.
