Kikkado Oteduzuri Monaka (DIY Monaka)
An experiential monaka where you finish the assembly yourself, crafted by Kikkado in Kurashiki. Kikkado is a long-established shop and the birthplace of the famous Kurashiki confection, Murasuzume. It is a renowned confectionery store representing Kurashiki that has been loved for many years. 'Oteduzuri Monaka' features fragrant monaka shells and chunky red bean paste (tsubu-an) cooked with adzuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido, packaged separately. Because you insert the bean paste yourself just before eating, you can always enjoy the shells in a perfectly crispy state. The elegant design of the shell, featuring vertically arranged miwa flowers, is also a highlight. The chunky red bean paste made from Tokachi adzuki beans has a refined sweetness that allows you to fully experience the rich flavor of the beans.
