Hiruzen White Chocolate Rusks
The Hiruzen Plateau stretches across the border of Okayama and Tottori prefectures. These are white chocolate-coated rusks made using milk from Jersey cows raised on that plateau. At an altitude of over 500 meters, the Hiruzen Plateau is a home to the largest population of Jersey cows in Japan. Jersey cow milk has a high fat content and is often referred to as 'golden milk' for its sweet and rich flavor. We have generously coated crispy rusks with smooth white chocolate made from that very milk. With the light, crunchy texture of the bread and the melting richness of the white chocolate, every bite allows you to experience the blessings of the Hiruzen Plateau. It is a slightly luxurious snack that pairs perfectly with coffee or tea.
