Yuzu Pon Arare
After a crispy texture, the refreshing aroma of yuzu drifts through your nose. Yuzu Pon Arare is made by Izaki Shoten, which has been operating in Matsubara, Osaka, since 1956. While yuzu-flavored rice crackers (arare) exist, those with a 'yuzu pon' flavor are rare. Made with domestic glutinous rice and seasoned with a ponzu-style blend of soy sauce, vinegar, and yuzu, it features a clean aftertaste. It is delightful not only during the delicious hot pot season but all year round. This is the reliable taste of a shop that has continued making arare for over 60 years. The refreshing scent of yuzu makes it impossible to stop reaching for more.
