Kansai Limited Bonchi Age
The 'Bonchi Age' is a familiar fried rice cracker on dining tables across the Kansai region. Created in 1960 by Osaka-based Bonchi Co., Ltd. as 'Age Komaru,' it has been continuously improved to achieve a light, Kansai-style seasoning. The company name 'Bonchi' was named after the best-selling novel 'Bonchi' by Osaka author Toyoko Yamasaki. This Kansai-exclusive version of Bonchi Age features a soy sauce flavor infused with dashi. The savory seasoning unique to Kansai is thoroughly soaked into the light, crispy texture. Once you start eating, you won't be able to stop; it is a delicious snack that never gets tiring. It is perfect as an accompaniment to beer or as a snack. This is a representative taste of Osaka that continues to be loved for many years.
