This is the flagship product that made "Madame Sinco," born in Minoo, Osaka in 2006, famous overnight. The founder, Nobuko Kawamura, created it through trial and error, using the flavor of the pancakes her mother baked for her as a child as her starting point. Baumkuchen soaked in maple syrup is generously coated with French Cassonade (red sugar) and then caramelized all at once. The surface is crispy and fragrant, while the inside remains moist and fluffy. It is an incredibly luxurious baumkuchen that allows you to enjoy two different textures simultaneously in a single bite. Eating it slightly chilled further enhances the crunchy caramel sensation. It is a representative sweet of Osaka, possessing both buzzworthy appeal and delicious flavor.
