Batond'or (Milk)

A high-end Pocky exclusive to department stores, developed by Ezaki Glico—founded in Osaka in 1922—at the suggestion of Takashimaya. The name means 'Golden Stick' in French. It is finished using a double-butter method, where butter is kneaded into the dough and then further bathed in a shower of clarified butter.
