Fukujudo Hidenobu Kono Amizuki

A round, adorable, and elegant baked confection inspired by the gentle image of the moon floating in the night sky. Fukujudo Hidenobu is a Japanese confectionery shop founded in 1948 in Soemoncho, Osaka. The shop name was chosen by entrusting its founding spirit to the Adonis (Fukujuso) flower, which blooms golden amidst the snow. 'Kono Amizuki' consists of soft castella sponge folded into a half-moon shape, generously filled with smooth and elegant sweet bean paste made from Hokkaido Tokachi adzuki beans. With moist castella sponge and lightly sweetened bean paste, its gentle flavor and lovely appearance have made it a long-standing choice as a souvenir from Osaka.
