Tsuruya Hachiman Shiki no Kokoro Ogura-kan
An elegant stick-shaped confectionery (sao-gashi) crafted by a long-established shop, softly reflecting the beauty of the changing four seasons. Tsuruya Hachiman is a prestigious traditional Japanese confectionery shop that first opened its doors in Koramachi, Osaka, in 1863 (Bunkyu 3). Inheriting the recipes of the famous 'Toraya Iori' shop that flourished during the Genroku era, they have carefully preserved the confectionery culture of the Kamigata region for over 150 years. 'Shiki no Kokoro Ogura-kan' is a moist and flavorful stick-shaped sweet made by slowly simmering carefully selected adzuki beans. With its refined, subtle sweetness and a smooth, moist texture, this item has been long beloved as a treat for a relaxing tea break and as a seasonal gift.
