The familiar Kameda no Kaki no Tane has evolved into a slightly luxurious snack for adults. TANEBITS is a premium specialty shop for Kaki no Tane that opened in 2016 at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Kameda no Kaki no Tane's launch. A major feature of the shop is that rather than simply increasing the variety of flavors, it utilizes new production methods such as 'charring, frying, smoking, and pickling' to create depths of flavor never seen before. Their signature 'Karaage' (fried chicken) flavor is an adult snack that perfectly recreates the crispy aroma of savory batter.
