Kuidaore Taro Pudding
Dotonbori's famous character has been transformed into a humorous pudding. "Kuidaore Taro" is the signboard figure of the famous former Dotonbori shop "Osaka Meibutsu Kuidaore," which first appeared in 1950. Even though the shop has closed, it continues to be loved by many as a symbol of Dotonbori. This playful pudding comes in a container shaped exactly like his trademark red and white triangular hat. It features a crème brûlée-style flavor, with smooth custard layered with bittersweet caramel and crunchy sugar crystals. The hat-shaped container can be kept as a decoration after eating, making it a quintessential Osaka treat.
