Tsushima Honey Wine (Mead)
Tsushima has a tradition of beekeeping that has been passed down for hundreds of years. On this island, traditional beekeeping continues today using hollowed-out logs called 'hachido' to house Japanese honeybees. Tsushima honey, which contains nectar from various flowers such as camellia and chestnut, is dark in color and rare, seldom appearing on the market.
