Taku Beef
When you insert your chopsticks, fine marbling runs through the tender lean meat. As you bring it to your mouth, the elegant fat melts, and the umami and sweetness of the meat spread gradually. It is a luxurious slice where the flavor deepens with every chew. Taku City, the 'Village of Confucius,' where a sanctuary honoring Confucius remains. The mild climate, fertile land, clear water, and clean air of this land in the center of Saga Prefecture raise high-quality Japanese Black Wagyu. The beautiful marbling, referred to as 'tsuyazashi' (glossy marbling), is the pride of this beef. First, try it simply with salt, or sweet and savory in sukiyaki. Please take your time to savor the flavor of a single animal raised by the land of Taku.
