Satoshō Mandarin Oranges

Satoshō Mandarin Oranges

The mandarin oranges grown in Satoshō Town are a winter delicacy created by the warm climate of the Seto Inland Sea. This area, facing the Seto Inland Sea, is blessed with ample sunlight, producing heavy clusters of highly sweet oranges. Raised carefully one by one under a mild climate and abundant sunshine, these oranges are bursting with juice and very satisfying to eat. When the cold season arrives, vibrant orange fruits line the local farm stands, announcing the arrival of winter. Because they are harvested only after reaching full ripeness, the balance between sweetness and acidity is superb. Enjoying a single mandarin while tucked under a kotatsu is a pleasure unique to winter. Once peeled, a refreshing aroma rises, and the sweet and sour juice spreads throughout your mouth. It is the bounty of Satoshō's winter, grown under the sun of the Seto Inland Sea.
