Niimi A-Class Gourmet
Niimi City promotes 'A-Class Gourmet,' aiming higher than the typical 'B-class' gourmet. This initiative shares our 'A-Class Pride' by showcasing selected ingredients raised in the rich nature of a city where forests cover over 80% of the area. Our flagship is 'Chiyada Beef,' a rare brand of beef with roots in Japan's oldest lineage of cattle. The lineup is luxurious, featuring large-grained Pione grapes grown on karst plateaus, wine made from locally produced grapes, and domestic caviar farmed in clear streams. The unique natural conditions of Niimi—clear water, fresh air, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night—enhance the quality of every single ingredient.
