Takahashi Black Tea
When poured into a cup, a clear amber color gently rises. With just one sip, you'll find almost no astringency; instead, a subtle sweetness and a somewhat nostalgic aroma will soothe your soul. It was born in Takahashi, a castle town in Bitchu. The Uji-Matsubara region, at an altitude of 460 meters, has significant temperature differences between day and night, making it land suitable for tea cultivation since ancient times. The raw material used is 'Yabukita,' which is well-known for green tea production. Compared to overseas black teas, it has less astringency, and because you can sense a gentle sweetness even when drinking it straight, it pairs perfectly with Japanese cuisine and sweets. A mellow Japanese black tea that is easy even for children to drink. A pride of Takahashi that heralds the arrival of spring.
