Ibara Grapes
Pluck a single grape from the cluster and take a bite. The moment the skin bursts, a refreshing sweetness spreads throughout your mouth along with an abundance of juice. Ibara is one of the leading grape-producing regions in Western Japan. In particular, Aono Town is known as the 'Grape Village,' where various varieties such as Shine Muscat, New Pione, and Seto Giants are grown. Thanks to the combination of elevation differences and cultivation methods, this land offers the unique advantage of enjoying seasonal flavors for a long period, from early July to December. It is said that lines can form even before opening at the direct sales shop 'Budou Romankan.' The sweetness and aroma each present a different character depending on the variety. These are the prideful harvests of Ibara, a land blessed with grape cultivation.
