SakanoHana
The single character for 'flower' prominently displayed on the label serves as its hallmark. This is a youthful brew crafted by SakanoHana Sake Brewery in Saku City. Founded in 1892, the brewery is located in the Saku Plain, with the Chikuma River flowing just to the west and views of Mount Asama to the north and the Yatsugatake Mountains to the south. The brewing process utilizes subsoil water from the Yatsugatake mountains and 'Hitogokochi,' a sake rice produced in Shinshu. In particular, their unfiltered raw Junmai Ginjo, which brought national recognition to the brewery, can be considered the very origin of this establishment. Its fresh aroma and crisp, clear taste have earned high praise from many enthusiasts. With a refreshing fragrance and a clean finish that does not linger heavily, this notable local sake perfectly reflects the nature of the Saku Plain, surrounded by Mount Asama and the Yatsugatake Mountains.
