Shihoro Kogen Beef
The brand beef "Shihoro Beef" is carefully raised in the town of Shihoro. In fact, Shihoro is a well-known livestock town that boasts the highest number of beef cattle production in Japan. Raised freely and healthily under clean air and water, these cattle boast lean, tender, and juicy meat with low fat content. They are carefully nurtured within a local cycle where compost from potato fields grows crops, and those crops, in turn, become feed for the cattle. When enjoyed as steak or hamburger patties, the deep umami unique to lean meat spreads through your mouth with every bite.
