Engaru Cosmos
The cosmos garden at Taiyo-no-oka Engaru Park boasts one of Japan's largest scales, with approximately 10 million flowers in full bloom. The sight of colorful cosmos covering the vast 10-hectare hill is breathtaking. In addition to native species, over 20 varieties of cosmos are in bloom, and on clear days, a magnificent view extending as far as the Sea of Okhotsk unfolds. During the 'Cosmos Festa' held from summer to autumn when the flowers are at their peak, the area becomes lively with concerts and local food stalls.
