Betsukai Jumbo Scallops
Their size, as large as the palm of your hand, will surely make you widen your eyes. These are the jumbo scallops from Notsuke that Betsukai is proud of. Notsuke Peninsula is Japan's largest sand spit. Due to its complex topography, an abundance of plankton, which is essential for scallop growth, flows into the offshore waters.
