Sobetsu Apples & Fruit
There is a paradise of fruit trees where you can enjoy fruit picking all year round. This is Sobetsu Town, one of Hokkaido's premier fruit-growing regions. In 1987, a group of young fruit farmers came together to create 'Sobetsu Fruit Village.' Here, more than 50 varieties of fruits are cultivated, including strawberries, cherries, grapes, and apples. Seasonal fruits ripen throughout the year, and by paying a set fee, you can fully enjoy fruit picking with whatever is in season. Freshly picked fruit tastes exceptional when enjoyed while gazing at the magnificent scenery of Lake Toya and Mount Usu.
