During a time when eating out was not yet common, they started a takeout system where 'customers bring their own pots to be filled with roux' to attract more customers, which became a massive hit. The sight of people carrying household pots to buy roux has now become a familiar scene in Tokachi. Whether at the restaurant or around the dining table, this is a curry that is deeply integrated into the daily life of Tokachi.
