Hikonpo Store - Tonchi Hikoichi Monaka
The signature confection of Hikonpo Store, which was founded in 1896 as a shop at Yatsushiro Station. It comes in two varieties: red bean paste made from Hokkaido adzuki beans and white bean paste. The skin, made from 100% domestic glutinous rice, is finished with a fragrant 'yakikogashi' (lightly scorched) method.
