A rice cracker made by the long-established Kitakaro of Sunagawa, Hokkaido, using sweet shrimp from Mashuke. We have kneaded plenty of sweet shrimp caught in the famous shrimp fishing grounds of Mashuke into the dough and baked it to a rich aroma. As part of Kitakaro's 'Hokkaido Kaitaku' series, this cracker is carefully crafted over many days—from washing the Hokkaido-grown glutinous rice to steaming, pounding, aging, drying, and baking. Along with a crispy, light texture, the savory umami of the sweet shrimp spreads softly throughout your mouth. Its fragrant aroma makes it hard to stop at just one. This is a deeply flavorful rice cracker that allows you to experience the full bounty of Hokkaido's sea. It is highly recommended as an accompaniment to tea or as a snack with alcohol.
