Shirokuma Butter Senbei
A butter cracker featuring a polar bear motif, made by the Sapporo confectionery manufacturer Kakasha. The thin, crispy dough is infused with the rich aroma of butter from Tokachi, Hokkaido. This snack was created as part of a project to support the Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo. A portion of the sales is donated to Maruyama Zoo to help cover animal feed costs. The surface features adorable imprinted designs of the polar bear 'Pirika's' face and paw prints, which are sure to bring a smile to your face just by looking at them. It is delicious to eat, cute to give as a gift, and contributes to supporting the zoo. A single piece filled with Hokkaido-style kindness that offers three kinds of happiness. It is also highly recommended as a souvenir for children.
