Kurouma

Moist and chewy. A soft shortbread born in Hokkaido with an irresistible semi-soft texture, as if freshly baked. A popular confection crafted by Robakashi in Asahikawa. Smooth chocolate is gently wrapped in dough, baked using 100% Hokkaido wheat and beet sugar. Available in two varieties—white and milk—each offering a different deliciousness. The name 'Roba' (Donkey) reportedly originates from the time when freshly baked sweets were carried to the main store on the back of a donkey. Each piece is carefully made, much like a hardworking donkey. Please enjoy this gentle, Hokkaido-style sweetness, perfect for accompanying tea.
