Toteppo Sable
A Tokachi sable named after a street where steam locomotives once ran. 'Totteppo Sable' is a creation from the Tokachi Toteppo Workshop located along 'Totteppo Street' in Obihiro. This street has a history of small steam locomotives running to transport sugar beets, the raw material for sugar. Instead of margarine, it uses a generous amount of Hokkaido-produced fermented butter. The sweetness comes from Tokachi-grown beet sugar, and the dough is made with Hokkaido wheat—the ingredients are entirely Hokkaido-centric. The crispy texture and rich aroma of fermented butter are irresistible. The cute packaging, which incorporates the town's history into its name, is also a charm. It is a high-quality piece made with carefully selected ingredients, beloved as an Obihiro souvenir.
