Patisserie Petit Dol Cabbage Field
A fun-to-look-at large cream puff that looks just like a real cabbage. "Cabbage Field" is a famous sweet made by the Kushiro-based patisserie Petit Dol. It features a specially crafted crust made by layering choux, pie, and cookie dough. It earned this name because 'chou' is the French word for cabbage. It is filled generously with rich cream made from Hokkaido milk, with caramel sauce added as an accent in the center. Its rounded shape is truly just like a cabbage. Only a few are made each day at each shop, making it a precious treat. The combination of the fragrant crust and melting cream provides great satisfaction in both appearance and taste.
