Hokkaido Dice Caramel
A revived nostalgic taste with a classic dice shape. Meiji sold Dice Caramel nationwide since 1927, but nationwide sales ended in 2016. Missing that flavor, Donan Shokuhin in Hokkaido revived it as a Hokkaido-exclusive product that same year. The milk caramels come in a small dice-shaped box, and the fun part is that the empty box can be used as actual dice. Upon its revival, the main ingredients were switched to Hokkaido-sourced materials, creating a more local flavor. The gentle sweetness of milk evokes a sense of nostalgia. It is a memorable taste unique to Hokkaido that inspires wanderlust across generations.
