Hakata Sukicchan
This is a collaborative confection born from the meeting of Hokkaido's famous 'Shiroi Koibito' and Fukuoka's proud brand of strawberry, 'Amaou.' It was created as part of a project to showcase souvenirs from various regions across Japan. It features light pink langue de chat made with Amaou strawberries, sandwiching the signature white chocolate of Shiroi Koibito. The smooth sweetness of Hokkaido and the fruity acidity of Kyushu's strawberries gently overlap in a single treat. The name 'Sukicchan,' which has an adorable ring in the Hakata dialect, catches the eyes of travelers at limited sales locations like airports. In the crispy, light langue de chat, the mellow sweetness of strawberry and white chocolate melts away. It is a slightly special bite where specialties from the North and South meet.
