Yuhino-uta (Poem of the Sunset)
The sunset at Kogane Misaki in Rumoi is said to be one of the most beautiful in Japan. 'Yuhino-uta,' made by Sennariya (founded in 1955), is a confection that reflects that very scenery. It is a substantial baked sweet consisting of almond-flavored butter dough mixed with raisins, coated in white chocolate, and sandwiched between sable cookies. It is finished as a unique Rumoi specialty, reminiscent of the sunset sinking into Kogane Misaki and its rocky reefs. The motif is that evening landscape that has captivated travelers along the Ororon Line. The crunchy sable and the gentle sweetness of the white chocolate pair perfectly.
