Isahaya Strawberries

The large berries are satisfying to eat, providing enough happiness in just one bite. The variety grown in Isahaya is 'Yumenoka,' a representative strawberry of Nagasaki. A feature of Yumenoka is that the flesh remains firm even when ripened on the vine to near-maturity. Because of this, it is said that they can be harvested at the most delicious moment.
