Taiko (Narutaki Sake Brewery)
A sake that pairs well with seafood, inspired by the history of Karatsu. Narutaki Sake Brewery in Karatsu City was formed in 1974 through the merger of three breweries. Tracing back to Taiko Sake Brewery, which was at its core, there is a history of over 300 years. The brewery is located on the land where Toyotomi Hideyoshi once built Nagoya Castle. Locally, Hideyoshi is affectionately called 'Taiko-san.' The representative brand 'Taiko' is characterized by a gentle mouthfeel and smooth throat passage. It is a food-pairing sake that seamlessly complements seafood from the Genkai Sea, such as fresh sashimi and grilled fish. Please enjoy this cup that evokes the history of Karatsu, brewed with the famous spring water associated with Hideyoshi.
