Sachihime (Sachihime Shuzo)
This sake was named out of a desire to 'wish for happiness.' Sachihime Shuzo in Kashima City is a brewery founded in 1934 (Showa 9). The origins trace back to the Minematsu family, who originally engaged in pearl oyster farming in the Ariake Sea before moving ashore to begin sake brewing. It is said that the name 'Sachihime' was given by the founder in the hope for a happy life for his only daughter. Its charm lies in its soft and gentle flavor that subtly accompanies your meal. The brewery is also known as the producer of sacred sake (omiki) for Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of Japan's three great Inari shrines. Located in a corner of the Kashima Sake Brewery Street, you can enjoy brewery tours and tastings. Please savor this gentle and heartwarming bottle, truly worthy of its name wishing for a daughter's happiness.
