Tanba Chestnut Kintone

This chestnut kintone uses plenty of Tanba chestnuts, gently squeezed using a cloth. By adding no unnecessary ingredients, you can fully savor the inherent sweetness of the chestnuts themselves. It is crafted by a long-established shop in Tanba Sasayama, founded in 1893. For over 130 years, they have continued to create confections using Tanba chestnuts. Their signature product is Kurimochi—chestnut paste wrapped in freshly pounded mochi without the use of additives—which draws many visitors from afar every autumn. The fluffy chestnut flavor melts delicately in your mouth. It is a taste that feels as if the rich autumn flavors of the misty village of Tanba Sasayama have been captured whole. An elegant, soothing sweetness unique to a long-standing establishment.
