Awaji Orange Stick
Awaji Orange Stick is an elegant confection featuring Awaji Island's specialty citrus enveloped in Belgian chocolate. It uses 'Naruto Orange,' which was discovered on Awaji Island approximately 300 years ago. Due to its low harvest volume, it is a rare citrus often referred to as a 'phantom mandarin.' The peels are candied using a unique method and then carefully coated in chocolate by skilled artisans. Produced by the confectionery shop Nagate Choeido, this highly acclaimed sweet has even received the Honorary President's Award at the National Confectionery Expo.
