Masuizumi
With a single sip, it does not interfere with the food, leaving only a clean aftertaste. Masuizumi is a classic Toyama sake that gently accompanies your dining experience. Brewed by Masuda Sake Brewery, which maintains its brewery in the town of Higashi-Iwase, which once flourished as a port for the Kitamaebune shipping route. It is said that the name 'Masuizumi' was given in the early Showa era using auspicious characters to please the geisha of the port, incorporating the Masuda family name. The brewery is also known for being one of the first to choose the path of Ginjo sake production at a time when it was not yet widely recognized, staking its survival on it, and has since become a regular gold medalist in competitions. Please enjoy a glass brewed with underground water from the Tateyama mountain range, alongside the bounties of Toyama's sea.
