Taiyomasari

This is the local sake of the castle town, protected through the collective efforts of Murakami's brewers. Taiyo Shuzo was born in 1945 from the merger of 14 breweries in Murakami due to wartime corporate restructuring. Eventually, the company name was set as Taiyo Shuzo, and its flagship brand was named 'Taiyomasari,' carrying on history and tradition. In 1972, it became an industry pioneer by being the first in the nation to release a commercially available Daiginjo. The brewery produces clear sake using the underground waters of the Sanmen River, which originate from the snowmelt of the Asahi Mountains. It offers a crisp, refreshing taste that never grows tiring, thanks to the soft water. We invite you to enjoy to your heart's content a drink that has walked alongside the food culture of Murakami, the city of salmon.
