Produced by Shokanji Maruho, founded in 1897, this is 'Japan's thinnest Japanese confectionery' at only 1.2mm thick. This Kikuchi confection is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, made by baking beet sugar and flour and precisely slicing it with a knife within one minute before it hardens.
