Single Muscat Grape
When you break through the thin layer of gyuhi (soft mochi), a juicy muscat grape bursts forth. This masterpiece is crafted by Kyorakudo, a confectionery shop in Mihara City, featuring an entire premium Muscat of Alexandria grape enveloped in gyuhi. Originally created as a souvenir for Mihara's 'Yassa Festival,' it has now become a famous confection known nationwide. We have contract farmers grow a specific type of muscat—slightly different from table grapes to emphasize acidity—and our artisans hand-wrap each individual grape. The harmony of juicy fruit juice and soft gyuhi that spreads the moment you take a bite is exceptional. It is a seasonal luxury that can only be enjoyed during its peak period.
