Yuko (Yellow Peach)
A seasonal limited flavor that adds the sweet and sour notes of yellow peach to Izutsu Yatsuhashi Honpo's popular Nama Yatsuhashi, "Yuko." "Yuko" is a soft Yatsuhashi filled with chunky bean paste, created in 1970. It was named after the novel "Gobancho Yugirorou" by Tsutomu Mizukami. While the standard version features bean paste wrapped in soft dough, this yellow peach version is infused with the juicy, sweet-and-sour flavor of yellow peaches.
