The 'Isewanko' is the official character of the National Confectionery Expo (Oisessan Kashi-haku) held in Mie Prefecture in 2017. This is an adorable cookie featuring that character. The dough uses Meyer lemon juice from Mihama Town, Mie Prefecture. Meyer lemons are a natural hybrid of lemon and orange, characterized by thin skin, abundant juice, and a mellow acidity. Mihama Town, in particular, is known as the top production area in the country. Each individual cookie features an adorable color print of Isewanko on its surface.
