KitKat Mini Onsen Manju
The familiar KitKat takes on a special form that can only be found in hot spring resorts. This is Nestle's "KitKat Mini Onsen Manju flavor." It features wafers filled with red bean powder cream, coated in a thin, light brown chocolate designed to resemble Onsen Manju (hot spring steamed buns). As part of a souvenir series sold at hot spring towns nationwide, the individual wrappers feature various illustrations of cats themed around the feeling of relaxing after a bath.
